Hot sunny days - Surrounded by creatures on Broadway

Walking around New York City is always a blast, seeing those comfy familiar sites, while surrounded by the differnet creatures lurking in the city. Whilst on my scavenger hunt with my fellow mates Kristin and Katie it seemed as if everywhere we turned for clues was a new unfamiliar character. We were surrounded! It definately was no small town anymore. After finally finding all our clues, hungry and tired from the sun's hot rays, the crew gathered together to finally see the preview of 'Follies' -lyrisist Stephen Sondheim. When everyone was finally seated I started to realize how dark and eerie the stage atmosphere was. The more I heard faint voices and dancers practicing from the speakers, and looking around at the damp, dark, wripped up show curtain I began to realize how the atmosphere really shows how old the theatre has become now-a-days but yet it had its fair share of hay days in the past. The characters then also added to the affect of the stage, and I think that most of show was phenominal. True some more scenery and costume changes would have been more exhilarating but all in all the show was definately one to remember!
